How To DESTROY SELF DOUBT & Become A HIGH ACHIEVER For SUCCESS | Kerri Walsh & Lewis Howes
Kerri Walsh-Jennings has won three Olympic gold medals and one bronze in beach volleyball, as well as three World Championship titles. She’s also notched more career victories and earned more money total than any woman in history. In 2005, Kerri married fellow American pro-beach-volleyball player and seven-time AVP Open Champion Casey Jennings, and now they have three beautiful children.
Kerri and her husband also founded p1440, the first digital platform built exclusively around beach volleyball and beach culture. From live-streamed competition and behind the scenes stories, to training videos, athlete profiles, and podcasts, they’re creating original content that celebrates the sport, the athletes, and the beach volleyball lifestyle. The name p1440 is based on the Jennings’ way of life: to live all 1440 minutes of the day with passion and purpose.
The Tokyo Olympics were actually supposed to start this week — crazy, isn’t it?! — and Kerri was aiming for redemption after finishing third in Rio in 2016. So it seemed like a perfect time to bring you this interview. We sat down for a wide-ranging conversation back in early spring, before we knew the full scope of the coronavirus pandemic, but Kerri’s wisdom is incredibly relevant at this moment.
