Alain Robert is the 58-year-old French, urban climber known as “The French Spiderman”.
Robert is the world’s most daring free solo climber, famous for scaling skyscrapers and famous landmarks all over the world including the Eiffel Tower, The Empire State Building, The Petronas Twin Towers and, the 110 story Willis Tower, known previously as the Sears Tower that was once the tallest building in the world.
He has scaled over 165 buildings without a safety cord, using only his fingers and feet, Alain’s climbing is headline news all over the world and in 2011 he climbed the tallest building in the world, The Burj Khalifa, ascending almost 3000 feet over 6 hours, securing his place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the fastest time to climb this structure.
