Man Compares himself to His Friend & Teaches Us A Lesson | by Jay Shetty

It’s so easy to measure our worth against others. In this video, Jay Shetty encourages each viewer to define what success means to them instead of depending on someone else’s definition of success.

We’ve been conditioned to base our self worth on how others see us or on an ideal we’ve created. We must take a step back. Start by realizing who you are and the path you’re on.

If you don’t have a baseline for what success looks like to you, personally – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually – you’ll be forced to use the definition of others. Sometimes that definition doesn’t fit. You begin to wonder if you’re good enough, smart enough, or attractive enough.

The reality is, everyone struggles. Everyone has challenges. When you study others’ pain and have real conversations with people, you’ll realize we’re all so much closer than you think.
