Getting Started With eCommerce – Module 1 – Part 1 – eCommerce Unlocked

Today I’m excited to announce eCommerce Unlocked. Over the next four weeks, I’m going to teach you how to get more sales to your e-Commerce business.

It’s important that you define what you want to achieve before you begin. With this course, we’re focusing purely on e-Commerce. And just in case you don’t know the definition, e-Commerce, also known as electronic commerce or internet commerce, refers to the buying or selling of goods or services using the internet and the transfer of money and data to execute these transactions.

Some basic assumptions before we get started. I’m going to already assume that you already have a e-Commerce site set up, you’re already going, you’re hopefully at least getting a sale or two, if not, no worries. This course, to do well, you’re going to have to go through it step by step, so don’t skip ahead, go through each and every single week step by step, make sure you take notes, and take action on the tactics that I give you.

I don’t care if you don’t know how to code, we’ll figure out how to get you sales.You need to have goals. If you want to do well and take a slice out of that trillion or multi-trillion dollar market, you need to have SMART goals, and we have a worksheet for you that you’ll fill out at the end. But the whole purpose of SMART goals is to make sure that you achieve what you want to.

So you want to be specific, right? What is your specific goals that you’re trying to hit? You want to have measurable results. If you can’t measure what you’re trying to achieve, then how do you know you achieved it? You want to have something that achievable. If it’s not achievable or obtainable, it’s unrealistic, you’re wasting your time. You also want to be relevant, right? Very result-based. Are the actions you’re taking going to help you achieve the results you want? And of course, you need to set a time.

There’s also a program structure. Every week I release a new module. There’s four modules. So you can learn all about e-Commerce marketing within four weeks. There’s three videos that I release each and every single week. Every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, I release new videos.

There’s three lessons per module and each module will break down every single lesson with worksheets, PDFs, step by step guides, so that way you know what to do and sometimes in the video, I don’t go over each and every single step, but the worksheets will.

I’m not going to go over every little thing or every little fine-tuned thing that you can do with your marketing. I’m going to give you the meat and potatoes, the stuff that you should be doing and the stuff that many people aren’t, but that’ll drive the results. So the stuff that I’m going to cover is the stuff that produces the revenue, the sales.

In addition to this course, I want you to be active, go do your own research, go try to learn from others, not just me, continually try to improve your marketing skills when it comes to your e-Commerce site, because that’s how you truly get better.

As long as you follow the process that I’m going to give you, and don’t worry if you can’t implement everything right away. There’s nothing wrong with being slow and steady, but you’re going to have a plan, and as long as you follow this plan, you’ll get more traffic and more importantly, you’re going to get sales. I also want you to have a successful mindset.

Never give up, act on your goal, and stay away from the negativity and the naysayers. If you believe that you can do it, I believe you can do it, you will see the results. And that’s very important and I know you’re probably like, “Neil, why are we going over this? “This is silly.” But remember, four weeks, that’s what I’m asking for you, three videos a week, so in essence, I’m asking you to watch 12 videos so that way you can get good at e-Commerce.

And over those weeks, I’m going to break down how to get started, then I’ll get into SEO and CRO, then I’ll dive into sales channels, and of course, marketing channels.
