So, a LOT happening a lot happening this week. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that we were building up to launching a brand new Playbook…

It’s not like a typical 7-day product launch. We’ll put it out there in the marketplace and then begin getting traffic to it.

Then optimising that traffic, following up with that traffic to convert customers, and send them through a sales funnel…

A Marketing System To Find The Best Ways To Help Those People

…to serve those people, to solve those people’s problems and deliver value to them, whilst building the business.

Now we’ve had many technical problems that have delayed all of this, until finally yesterday, we were able to flick ‘Live’. But that kind of happened later in the day. So now really, the fun starts! Very, very exciting.

I love this point in time. Y’know, a lot of the ‘building stuff’ – it’s tough work and I enjoy the process. But I enjoy it more when things are ready to put out there, and to start improving upon, and to start getting traffic to. And to start getting the product into people’s hands, and seeing all the work that we’ve done come to fruition.

Starting to see people flow to that first page of the funnel, and seeing how many of those opt-in. And then seeing that next stage of the funnel – how many take out their card and complete their first purchase. Then seeing them land on those additional ‘one-time offers’, those special deals that we present.

And then seeing them land on the ‘thank you page’, where we have a special presentation that does something that leads people through to applying to become a Certified Partner or a client of ours.

Finding out how many of those people speak to my team, and how many go on to invest in their business at a higher level, a higher value opportunity. And seeing all those numbers, finding out what a customer is worth to our business Then, how well are we serving that customer? What difference are we making?

Those Are The Things That Get Me Really Fired Up

We’ve put months of work into getting to this week. And now we’re at the part that I really, truly love.

Here’s the thing… Here’s what I want to talk about…

As a business owner – and let’s talk specifically about my forte; online business. As an online marketer, an online business owner, you will go through many trials and tribulations. Many ups, many downs, many highs and lows.

And you have to keep fighting on. You have to keep on finding solutions. And you have to be passionate about what you’re doing to allow that to happen.

I always say I never ‘work’. I don’t do any ‘work’ really. Because I do what I love every single day. I could spend 12 hours a day in my office, or more, as I often do sometimes when needed. And I don’t see it as ‘work’.

But with that said, I want to get an important message across. One of the biggest problems that people face when starting and growing an online business is, they stay stuck. They feel lost, feel frustrated, overwhelmed. They don’t know where to turn, or what to do.

And people feel like they’re putting in hard work – they’re working hard. And for many people that’s true. But here’s the reality, here’s something that not many people tell you…

Hard Work Can Either Make You, Or It Can Indeed Break You

What do I mean by that? Well if you work hard on the wrong areas you will get nowhere, and you will feel frustrated, lost, angry and confused. You won’t know what to do, or where to turn.

Because in your head… “I’m working hard. I’m doing everything I should, and could, and can… But I’m getting nowhere!” Cos you’re working hard in the wrong areas. When you work hard in the right areas – when you apply yourself, your time, your energy, your resources, into the right areas. That’s where it can ‘make you’.

So it’s about working smart. As in understanding and knowing the right and correct areas to focus on. And then working hard on those areas. Because if you work hard in the wrong areas, it can ‘break you’. You’ll stay stuck, you won’t grow, and you won’t progress.

Work hard on the right areas and you can absolutely accomplish anything you want to.

So HOW do you know what the ‘right areas’ are?

Well that’s where that ye olde faithful, traditional thing comes in for online business owners, where…

Everyone Should Find An Online Business Mentor

Someone who has already done what you want to do. A mentor who is doing it, or has done it. Find an online business mentor who can guide you and steer you. Who can ‘shortcut’ that path.

Otherwise you have to go through years probably, of trial and error finding those right areas. And you’ll spend years working hard on the wrong areas, before you finally find the right areas. A business mentor can say, “NO… Don’t waste time doing that… Do This!”
