There’s no doubt some people are going to disagree with me on this one. Some people are not going to like the message.
But as I’ve said in the past, those that usually don’t like these things… they need to hear it for the most.
Good morning! Welcome to another episode of The Drive. What a different start to the day it’s been. I am late to the office today. Had a punctured tire and basically had to go and get it replaced, but I was in there forever!
Do Your Actions Match Your Message?
Let me tell you what I’m talking about here. Are the actions that you’re taking helping you or hindering you? Helping you or harming you? Do your actions match what you say you desire?
There’s a lot of people in the world that say they want to get in better shape. Yet they won’t go to the gym, or they won’t work out.
There are a lot of people that aren’t happy with their weight, yet they keep piling junk food into their body.
There are a lot of people that want to excel in business. Yet they stay in bed late, they sit watching TV at night instead of putting those precious hours into their business, right?
A lot of people are stuck in situations. And instead of doing what it takes, they don’t change their their routines, they don’t change themselves.
And what I know to be true in life ultimately… and you should hopefully agree with this if you really think about it… Changing patterns, changing our behaviours…
…like, immediately, we can change.
This kind of goes against what we believe to be true. Because if we change, or if we accept that we can change immediately… it’s almost like saying well that problem doesn’t exist.
But really… here’s what I want you to think about.
It’s not the changing of our behaviours, or our actions, or our habits, that takes a long time. It’s generally making the decision to change that takes a long time.
Like for me in business… it took me four years to change myself. And only when I changed myself, and admitted that I needed to change my habits… which was stopping buying the get-rich-quick garbage, stopping consuming and listening to the wrong people.
Just Changing My Beliefs, Changing My Focus
that’s when I was able to make a difference. That’s when I could change my financial situation.
Getting in better shape, you know. I was in a much worse shape than I am now. I’m certainly not in the best shape still, but I am working on it every day.
But I needed to start exercising. I needed to start getting up earlier. I needed to start going to the gym and exercising and working out.
It took me a long time to do that. But once I made that commitment… it changed instantly.
I only have to get up every day and go to the gym… that can be done any day. But what took time was making that decision to actually get up early, and change in making those preparations.
So that’s really what I want you to think about. That’s mainly my message today.
Are your actions matching your desires, or what you say you want in life? Whether it’s health, wealth, happiness, fitness… whatever it may be…
You Can Change In An Instant
Make sure that what you’re what you’re doing, matches what you’re saying you want.
If you want to excel in business, then put in the work… sacrifice what’s not assisting you.
If you want to get better in shape in fitness, in health… then change your patterns, change your approach, change your actions to match what you say you want.
